Beyond reality - Imaginary worlds in fairy tale illustrations
19.2.–1.6.2025 Artist Home Erkkola
This exhibition takes us on a journey to fantastical sceneries where dreams and reality merge together. The exhibition features illustrative art from the collections of Amer Cultural Foundation and Tuusula Art Museum. The works of Rudolf Koivu (1890–1946), Martta Wendelin (1893–1986), Venny Soldan-Brofeldt (1863–1945), Lauri Manninen (1915–2001) and Risto Mäkinen (1918–1972) lead the viewer far beyond everyday reality.
