Exhibitions
Erkkola is a venue for temporary exhibitions. The exhibitions offer diverse perspectives on different art forms, modes of expression, and cultural phenomena, varying in both content and timeframe.
Erkkola usually hosts three to four exhibitions each year. In summer 2026, an exhibition featuring works from the Tuusula Art Museum collection will open and remain on view until spring 2027 due to the relocation of the museum’s collection storage and work facilities.

Dialogues Between Language and Visual Art
6.5.2026–23.5.2027 | How does an image speak – and how does language become visible? Reading Images explores the rich interplay between visual art and literary expression. Drawing on the Tuusula Art Museum collection, the exhibition presents works in which words, texts, and literary references are woven into the visual field –sometimes subtly embedded, sometimes taking on a central structural role.
